In the world we are living in today, this question has never been more important. As educators, we are no longer simply delivering curriculum—we are becoming the steady, emotionally responsive presence through which children begin to feel safe, seen, and understood; no matter what program or curriculum I am delivering. Three Simple Reflective Questions (Attachment & Learning)How does the way I respond to a child’s emotions influence their willingness to take risks and learn? When a child struggles, do I first focus on the behavior—or the relationship beneath it? In what ways do I intentionally create a sense of safety and connection before expecting engagement in learning?
